First, the respective share of
the parties has been modified by the bid accepted by the parties in joint session. As a
result, the parties should memorialize the new respective share in the
intergovernmental development agreement. The first eight paragraphs of the
agreement concern the respective share. The new respective shares for project costs
between the parties as set forth in the agreement. The responsibility of each party for
the alternates included in the bid are assigned in paragraphs 2-6. In accounting
memorializing the status of the respective share between the parties is contained in
paragraphs seven (7) and eight (8).
The Federal Transit Administration has requested that changes be made to the
language concerning the obligation of the transit district to maintain continuing
control of transit facilities. The languages incorporated in exhibits A, B and C of the
intergovernmental development agreement. Copies of the amended language are
attached to the amendment. This language concerns an obligation of the transit
district to the FTA. No new obligation or financial obligation is assumed by the
county as a result of these changes.
530 Center Street NE, Suite 312 . Salem, Oregon 97301-3670 .(503) 588-5220 .
