Theft of Services: Non-payment of faze or misuse of pass or transfer is theft of 10 service ~ , , 1~ + n 4i nn ~~4~ 4 J ` ~+• ~ waav•~ ~~ • m~~ T.~uv ~* iG w'-VI'IIZSRii ) 12 ~ 13 ~ 14 3.14.1 Apvlicable fare: No person shall occupy, ride in or use any District 15 ~eVehicle unless the person pays the applicable fare or tenders a valid and 16 lawfully acquired District transfer, ticket, card or pass. 17 1 g 3.14.2 Transfer: The purpose of a transfer is to allow a passenger to reach their 19 destination on one faze by making connecting rides. 20 21 13.1.2.1 No person shall, without proper authority, possess an un-punched 22 District passenger transfer. 23 24 13. i.2.2 No person shall tender a transfer as proof of faze payment if a 25 representative of the District did not furnish the transfer to that person. 26 27 3.14.3 Pass: Passes are non-transferable. No person shall use or attempt to use a 28 District pass or board or ride in a District ~eVehicle unless the pass was 29 lawfully acquired at an authorized District ouflet by or on behalf of that person. 30 31 3.14.4 Round Triv: No person shall tender one fare or one transfer for a round- 32 trip ride &om the transit mall back to the transit mall. Such round-trip ~ requires 33 two fazes. Passengers who have a monthly pass may ride round-trip at any time. 34 35 3.14.5 Confiscate Pass or Transfer: Any District employee or representative may 36 confiscate a bus pass or transfer tendered for faze in violation of this section. 37 3 g 3.14.6 Peace Officer Exemption: ??
