j ~~ .~ ~~ .r z ~,,~„~ ~ ~--- <br />`~ _ _~^ <br />~ ~~ <br />~ ~- ~~ ~~~ y ~ ~.- ~~ ~ - <br />JOB PRE-TEST AND BALANCE COMMENTS <br />As an aid to properly coordinate work between trades and prevent unnecessary <br />return visits for everyone concerned, the Engineer requests that the following list <br />of items be completed prior to any testing balancing of air systems. The <br />Mechanical Contractor to return the completed form to the Engineer when all <br />items are ready: <br />Work required is as follows: <br />() 1. Static pressure control sensors installed and operating. <br />() 2. Fan rotation is correct. <br />() 3. Fan RPM is to be set after fan performance test by Balancing <br />Engineer. However, initial installed RPM should be within 10% <br />of what was indicated on equipment submittal. <br />() 4. Balancing dampers installed in locations shown on Drawings. <br />() 5. Proper balancing damper operators installed in accessible <br />location and not covered with insulation. <br />() 6. All balancing dampers locked in 100% open position. <br />() 7. Linear diffuser directional blades set in position for proper air flow. <br />() 8. All fire dampers open with fuse links installed and any props <br />removed. All fire and smoke dampers operating correctly. <br />() 9. All filters including clean construction filters installed upstream. <br />() 10. Terminal Units functioning with thermostat. <br />() 11. All exhaust fans are wired, operable and in correct rotation. <br />() 12. BAS system properly set-up so that all equipment and equipment <br />components are functional and capable of being operated through <br />the control sequence. <br />Signature <br />Date <br />Firm Unit No <br />
