pRELIMINARY SITE STUDIES : RECOMMENDATIONS
CONCLUSIONS:
The Greyhound Block does not work, due to traffic
arterial concerns, without expensive building
acquisition and removal.
The Movieland Block is excellent, if the required
property is available for purchase.
The Senator Block is mostly publicly owned. The
timeline is short for site selection and the
displacement of county departments presents a
challenge.
The Washington Mutual Block is difficult and
expensive to develop, but could work.
SUMMARY:
Negotiation with property owners will determine
which sites are available for acquisition, at an
acceptable price, and within the required time frame,
and this process will then further indicate which
location is most feasible for development of the
Transit Center.
FALCON Archltecture & Planning
