However, during our 7uly prebilling analysis, I mistakenly applied 28 hours
worked by Tom Gainer on Demolition Project Management toward Dewatering Support.
Marion County was billed $10,087.57 for effort on the project in July. The water treatment
subcontractor, Terra Hydro, Inc., submitted their invoice after our billing cutoff, therefore,
Marion County was not billed for this work until September. The total subcontractor bill is
$4,704.78. Because of the misapplied hours, along with other labor and expenses for the month
of August, the total billing on the dewatering task would be $15,928.45, an apparent $2,428.45
overrun.
As we discussed, I will split the Terra Hydra bill between Work Order 22 and Work Order 24. I
will apply $2,428.45 of the subcontractor work billing to Work Order 22, thereby accounting for
the misapplied hours.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may prove to you or the County.
