I apologize in the delay in responding to your fax of April 30, 1999. <br />I have reviewed your proposed settlement agreement as amended. I find it <br />satisfactory. I also find it satisfactory to settle for the dollar amount of $11,549.50. <br />have spent some time in consulting with the principles involved in this matter, <br />including the individual commissioners from Marion County. Everyone has had an <br />opportunity to consider your recommendations. Everyone has agreed to proceed <br />with the settlement on the terms that you have recommended. <br />You are authorized to settle this claim on the terms you recommended and for the <br />dollar amount you recommended. When the settlement agreement has been signed <br />by Chevron would you please forward it to me. I will place this on the public <br />meeting agenda for the Marion County Board of Commissioners.
