„~r ~"~ <br />Contract for Services <br />PART I <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />T'r.is contract is betweer. Marion County, a political subdivision o= the <br />State of Oregon, hereinazter called the COLNTY, and Gillespie A~praisal <br />Services, hereinafter calleci CONTRACTOR. <br />The CONTRACTOR agr2es to deliver the services as specified in Part II <br />of this contract within sixty (60) days from the date of issuing a <br />purchase order. It is understood that this contract between the COUNTY <br />ar~d the CONTR.F~CTOR is subject to the availability of local, state, and <br />fede-ral fu:~ds. This contract is for the period indicated and does not <br />in any way commit the COUNTY to obligate funds ior continuation of these <br />seY-vices beyond the con~ract period. <br />COM~LI?~NCE WITH STATUTES AND RULES <br />Tne COiJNTY and the CONTicACTOR agree to comply w? th the provisions oi <br />tr~is contract and all applicable federal, state, an~ local statutes and <br />ru~es. <br />i7nless otherwise speciiied, responsibility for all taxes, assessment and <br />any other charges imposed by law upon employers sh~.ll be the sole <br />respons?bility of the CONTRACTOR. Failure of the CONTR.ACTOR or the <br />COUNTY to comply with t~:. provisions of this contract and all applicabie <br />federal, state, and local statutes and rules shall be cause for <br />termination of this con*ract as specifieci in sections concerring <br />recovery of funds and termination. <br />FAYMENT OF CONTRACT <br />The sum of 519,400.00 is the maximum payment amount obligated by the <br />COUNTY under this contract. The COUNTY agrees to pay to the CONTR.ACTOR <br />a lump sum within thirty (30) days of the receipt of an invoice ar_d <br />receiving the appraisa' reports. <br />a. MO~TFICATION OF CONTRACT <br />Any alterat~ons, variat?ons, modifications or waivers of provision of <br />thie contract shall be val.id only when they have been submitted in <br />writing and approved by the COUNTY and the CONTR.ACTOR. <br />ThE CONTF.ACTOR or the COTJNTY may reduc~ or terminate this contract when <br />SCa~? ~?"
