Therefore, their relocation
claim against the Courthouse Square project should not be included in the
negotiations between the Salem Mass Transit and Marion County for
relocation claim as a Marion County department.
Marion County has paid for the following expenses in relocating the MCHA:
Movers $2,976.00
Boxes 242.48
Remodeling 4~3 squaze feet of space at the Marion County Annex
@ $C-S~4'per square or Q~~,~~~1
$~ ..~~39 ~~73a. q~
Additionally, MCHA has submitted a Relocation Expenditures request for
reimbursement of $10,900.96. A copy is atta.ched for your review. It is my
opinion that furniture and printing in the amount of $4,972 would be
authorized relocation expenditures. The rent increase of $3,816.96 would also
be allowable. The Senator apartment relocation expenditure was spec~cally
disapproved by the FTA grant award given to the Salem Mass Transit for
relocation costs.
MCHA's total re-establishment expenses would include:
Marion County's payment of $3~'2'1 for remodeling.
MCHA expenditures of $ 4,972.00 for furniture and printing.
Anticipated rent increase $ 3,816.96.
Total $~;6~83-69 ~
`~,~ ~~/,
~
100 High Street NE, Room 5321 • Salem, Oregon 97301-3665
