Pearmine
EXECUTIVE Re: Senator Hotel Relocation Expense
DIRECTOR
Craig O. Luedeman Dear Elyn:
T'hank you for your follow-up on the Senator Hotel, tenant relocation invoice. I can appreciate the
difficulty you have experienced in coordinating the multi-department moves with Randy Curtis.
The relocation of Senator tenants went especially well. We were pleasantly surprised with the
cooperation we received from each of the tenants.
In regards to the lease contract, Marion County Housing Authority is not in agreement with your
assessment of final responsibility for removal of final materials and debris. It was our understanding
that Marion County Housing would be responsible for removing only items that were listed as
inventory to MCHA.
Scott Berglund, our maintenance manager made special arrangements for the removal of any items
left which were owned by Marion County Housing Authority. This is also the arrangement that our
agency believes was agreed to between yourself and Craig Luedeman.
Therefore, we do hereby request that Marion County reimburse Marion County Housing Authority
the full relocation expenses of $2,250. If you disagree with our understanding of the arrangements
previously made, please call Craig Luedeman or myself to discuss. We do however, want to keep
the two transactions as separate items.
Your check to us for partial reimbursement is attached.
Sincerely, .
~jy~,,,r~y C , ~~L~~
Dennis C.
