<br />contractor and the architect to advise Owner of the steps required to cure such ~~iolation or future
<br />violation, including «•hether or not such violation of such Applicable Law, or the application
<br />thereof to the Project or O~zner, should be contested. Unless Owner shall elect to contest such
<br />violation or Applicable La«~, M"'~ shall work with the architect to;-~ u~Z
<br />such
<br />steps as are necessary to correct such violation or as are othenvise required to comply with
<br />Applicable La~vs. If Owner elects to contest such violation of Applicable Law, 1a '` ` rshall
<br />assist Owner in such contest and shall e~~ consult with any professional advisers
<br />retained to conduct such contest. Nothin~ herein shall be construed to require or pennit
<br />~~:~~1 r
<br />~~~e~ief- to fail to `~~ promptly/any such violation or fail to comply promptly «~ith any such
<br />Applicable La«, if such failure ~;~ould or might expose ~~`~'~ '`~` ~ or Owner to any criminal
<br />liability.

<br />7.3 Impositions

<br />~~ shall fonvard to Owner, for payment, all Impositions. B~a~ shall
<br />receive and review bills or statements for all Impositions and shall furnish recei ted co ies of
<br />such bills and statements to O~t~ner. r~~l'~' ``~ shall also advise Owner (a) of any mat nal
<br />~ increase in any Imposition, (b) whether the amount of any Imposition should be challenged, and
<br />(c) the means available for obtaining a reduction of the same, together with its recommendations

<br />as to t e course of action to be pursued. If Owner shall so request, ~~~~ef shall institute
<br />appropriate protests or challenges to the Imposition or take such other appropriate steps to obtain
<br />a reduction of the same. All Impositions and any expenses of ~~`n°';~ reasonabl~• incurred in
<br />contesting the same or othern~ise seeking a reduction thereof, including legal, professional,
<br />appraisal, and accountina fees, if required, shall be expenses of the Project, chargeable to O~tmer.
<br />7.4 Ins ection

<br />As necessary or appropriate, or when reasonably requested by O~~mer. B~e}a~e~
<br />shall mal:e physical inspections of the Project and work with the architect and the general
<br />contractor to mal:e reconunendations to Owner regarding maintenance or conservation work
<br />~ti-hich may be necessarv or appropriate to preserve or improve the value and profitability thereof.

<br />shall prepar~ and file, or cause to Ue Prep~red ar~d filed,~hen due, all repflrts
<br />reladng to the Projecc, or any portion ch~r~of, required by Applicable I.~ws, ~~ may, with
<br />the prior consent of Owner, mal:e use of the services of th~ Owner's accountants and counseZ in
<br />che preParation and filing of any such r~ports, All fees a.nd charges required to be paid in
<br />connection with an}' such report, includin~ Che fees a~d disburse~ents of professional sdvisers
<br />r~laied thereto, s11aI1 be an expense of the Project, chargeable to Owner.
