OPTIONS:
Defer adopting the resolution until the documents are fully completed. This option
may risk federal grant funding, unless the Board can meet in special session before
the end of the federal fiscal year.
2. Adopt the resolution delegating limited authority to the Director of General
Services to fill in the blank quantifiable items in the agreements and execute the
development agreement on behalf of the county.
RECOr~NDATION: Adopt the resolution. Timing dictates that specific,
quantifiable information must be added to the develoment agreement and attached
agreements, and that the development agreement must be executed before the next regular
public meeting. This process is not desirable, but it is the most practical. The delegated
authority is limited. The Director of General Services has fully apprised the Board of the
progress toward and content of the final design and final budget. The director will have
discretion not to execute the agreement if the necessary information cannot be obtained or
circumstances change.
~
cc: Randy Curtis, Director of General Services
Ken Roudybush, Administrative Officer
Ben C.
