PRECISION WDUSTRIAL CONSTRLCTORS* <br />Date Advertised: 10-MAR-97 <br />This office is responsible for the administration and enforcement of Oregon's prevailing wage rate regulations <br />(ORS 279.348 to 279.380). In this regard we regularly receive information concerning public works projects to <br />be awarded or projects already in progress. <br />Information we have received indicates that you have tailed to file the Form WH-81 (Notice of Award of Public <br />Works Contract) as required by ORS 279.363. The statute requires that every agency file this form within 30 days <br />of awarding a public works contract. <br />This will advise you that ORS 279.370 provides that the Commissioner may assess civil penalties against a <br />contracting agency for violations of the prevailing wage rate statutes and rules. Please note that each violation is <br />separate and distinct and, in the case of continuing violations, each day's continuance is a separate and distinct <br />violation. <br />The Bureau requests that you respond to this notice by completing and submitting the Form WH-81 by December <br />12, 1997.
