The meeting was a weekly report by Staton on the overall progress and
status of the demolition project.
The meeting was attended by:
David Hartwig Kathleen Thorpe
°~ Judy Crockett Geoff Brown
Mike Staton Loni Richey
The following topics were discussed and are summarized as:
1. Demolition is pro~ressin~ on schedule. Staton is accumulating a large pile of debris on site. They
will be bringing in another sorting crew. They will attempt to sort concrete and steel, pull out the
metal and send the remaining debris to Brown's Island.
2. Demolition Recycling is proceedin~planned levels. To date, 90.69% of demolition waste leaving
the site has been recycled. We will probably take a hit because of shipping debris to Brown's
Island, but we should make it up when we haul offthe paving at the end of the job.
We have another brick giveaway under way.
3. A woman's car was damaged by concrete splatter. Staton took care of it by paying for the damage
and giving her a free load of bricks.
4. The city needs a lighting plan. Will the street lights be left in place or taken out during demolition?
If they are going to be removed, we will need some sort of temporary lighting.
