~ <br />centurywest <br />ENGINEERING CORPORATION <br />June 5, 1997 <br />Mr. Michael Staton <br />Staton Construction <br />29394-B Airport road <br />Eugene OR 97402 <br />RE: Courthouse Square Demolition-Compliance with Required Submittals and <br />Notice to Proceed <br />Dear Mr. Staton: <br />The purpose of this letter is to summarize Staton Construction's compliance with submittal <br />requirements to Marion County for the demolition phase of the Courthouse Square project in <br />Salem, Oregon. Marion County has requested that Century West Engineering review the contract <br />with your firm and your subsequent responses to the contractual submittal requirements. <br />Enclosed is a list of the required Submittals summarized by us from the contract documents. <br />Century West Engineering developed this list through comparison of the submittal requirements <br />as identified in the contractual documents to the content of those documents provided by Staton <br />Construction to date. <br />Please note that for each item listed that is not check or "shaded" Marion County does not accept <br />your submittal as complete, if any. While this letter does constitute appropriate notification <br />for Staton Construction to proceed, Marion County requests that your firm respond in <br />writing to the outstanding submittal requirements by June 11, 1997.
