From: BILLY WASSON
To~ rtranke, smccracken, pmitchell, rcurtis, i:whittin...
Date: 10/20/98 9:25am
Subject: Standard and Poors Rating agency site visit
Since the County has no rating in the flnancial markets our financial advisors have strongly recommended that we host
the S&P stafffor a day and give them a personal¢ed briefing on the project and the county.
I am working with the rating agencies calendar and will give you as much notice as possible on this site visit. The bad
news is that we will need to generate a briefing document about the county I will send out a sample of the type of data
needed. It looks to me like a reformating of a combination of the "o~cial statemenY' and SPOC materials that we have
already done.
Peggy I am requesting that you take the lead to get this briefing packet put together, is that o. k. with you and your
supervisor'? The draft copy of the model will be in the fax later this a. m..
In addition to the project team that will have the lead role with this briefing we will need a Commissioner(I assume Randy
Franke) to be available to do the usual protocols with the visitors. I will keep you posted on dates and further details.
Thanks.
CC: bwasson
