Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 279.352(2), tlie contractor shall pay a fee equal Eo one-tenth of one <br />percent (. I percent) of the price of this contract. The fee sha11 be paid on or before the first progress payment or <br />60 days from the date work first began on the contract, whichever come first. It is hereby agreed that the Owner has the right and may at any time assign the responsibility and tasks <br />of the contract management and/or the project management to Courthouse Square, Inc. If Owner does assign any <br />af these responsibilities or tasks to Courthouse Square, Inc., Courthouse Square, Inc. will have full authority to <br />manage the respansibilities and tasks of the contract anrUor the project. <br />24_ The County requires the Contractor to salvage, reuse or recycle a minimum of 90 percent by weight, all <br />materials removed from the project site as part of this demolition contract. The Caunty believes tat this recovery <br />rate will help reduce the amount of waste that is place in a landfill. <br />24.1 RECOVERY AND WASTE NiANAGEMENT PLAN: To achieve this end, the Contractor shall <br />develop with the assistance of the Counry, the Architect/Engineer, the Solid Waste Management <br />Department and their special waste reduction consultant, a Recovery and Waste Management Plan for <br />work performed on this project_ <br />The PIan at a m.inimum will include: <br />a. Types of waste materials produced as a result of work performed on site <br />b. Estimated quantities of waste produced <br />c. Identification of materials with the potential to be recycled, reused or salvaged <br />d_ On-site storage and separation requirements <br />e. Transportation methods <br />f. Destinations for materiats <br />g. Method for tracking and accounting of materials for meeting 90 percent recycling goal <br />h. Estimated amount paid to Contractor for each material recovered <br />i. Estimated cost to get makerials to the market <br />j. Estimated cost of transportation and disposat for unrecovered materials <br />24.2 SALVAGE AND RECYCLE REVENUE SPLIT <br />24.2.1 Additional salvage/recycling revenues generated on this project greater than $40,000.00 shall be <br />split on a 50/50 basis between Staton and Mazion County. The split will occur after Staton <br />management, removal and transportation costs have been deducted from revenue, and after <br />transportation and disposal fee's included in the original proposat have been accounted for and <br />added to the revenae. Staton costs to be calculated from Staton's 1997 Rental Rate Sheet. <br />Disposat costs to be calculated from Coffm Butte Landfill or Wood Waste Reclamation. <br />
