We very much appreciate your efforts to resolve this matter quickly and without
acrimony.
We do have one question with respect to the amount. Our records indicate that our
supplemental claim was for a total of $23,090.83. In response to Mr. Hanna's inquiry
concerning the amount included for replacement stationery, we agreed to disallow $541.25 of the
claim, which left a total of $22,549.58. The payment we received was in the amount of
$22,489.5 8. Do you know if the $60.00 discrepancy results from a disallowance of part of our
claim? If such a disallowance occurred, could you please let us know the reason for the
disallowance. If no additional disallowance occurred, could a mathematical error on the
County's part account for the discrepancy? I have re-checked our addition and did not find any
errors on our end.
Thank you again for your assistance with this matter. Please feel free to give either me
or Monty a call if you have any questions.
Very truly yours, ~~~=Ct~~
~
M reen Callahan VanderMay
Attorney at Law
MCV/pc
OF COUNSEL:
DALE D.
