Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />9.Ensures that the team meetings and all supporting mental health services are provided in a <br />culturally appropriate manner, emphasizing family and client voice and choice in the decision- <br />making process. <br />10.Adheres to the principles of wraparound and supports this strength-based approach at all levels. <br />11.Supports the development of a system of care and assists in service coordination with partner <br />agencies. <br />12.Provides high-fidelity wraparound in accordance to the model. Participates in all high-fidelity <br />reviews. <br />13.Maintains documentation in accordance with the Health and Human Services Department, high- <br />fidelity and OARs. <br />14.Performs related duties as required. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related behavioral science field: OR <br />2.Associate's Degree in related behavioral science field and two (2) years relevant work experience <br />in behavioral health services field; <br />3.Three (3) years relevant work experience in a behavioral health services field: OR <br />4.Any satisfactory equivalent or combination of at least three (3) years relevant work, education, <br />training, or experience. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Positions at the Health and Human Services Department must be able to be credentialed as a <br />> <br />Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). <br />Individuals hired as a Care Coordinator Trainee may auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the <br />> <br />Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Care Coordinator upon being credentialed <br />as a Wraparound Facilitator according to the high-fidelity standards and process established by <br />Vroon VDB (VVDB) LLC within nine (9) months of hire. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Working knowledge: of the general concepts of mental health and chemical dependency as well as <br />community resources. <br />Ability to: establish positive working relationships with employees, clients and their families, other <br />agencies and the public; prepare accurate reports and to document client services in a timely and <br />professional manner; work within a team and collaborate with team members; knowledge of and ability to <br />act within professional code of ethics and to maintain appropriate confidentiality. <br />AUTOPROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION <br />Positions at the Health and Human Services Department must be able to be credentialed as a <br />> <br />Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). <br />Individuals hired as a Care Coordinator Trainee may auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the <br />> <br />Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Care Coordinator upon being credentialed <br />as a Wraparound Facilitator according to the high-fidelity standards and process established by <br />(VVDB) LLC within nine (9) months of hire. <br />ADOPTED: <br />02/14 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
