Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in mental health <br />or a related field, AND <br />2.Two (2) years of experience performing clinical assessments and evaluations. <br />3.QMHP required within six (6) months from date of hire. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Candidates will be subject to a personal background investigation, including but not limited to, <br />> <br />criminal and driving histories. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES <br />Principles of clinical supervision, including practices of psychological testing and reporting. Pertinent <br />federal, state, county, and local laws, codes, and regulations. <br />Ethical practices of the mental health professions (i.e., American Psychological Association, <br />Association of Clinical Social Workers, American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, <br />Professional Counselor Association, Etc. Current research and best practices of adult offender <br />supervision, assessment, psychopathy, and mental health research. Effectively apply principles and <br />practices of clinical supervision. Maintain appropriate records and logs. Communicate clearly and <br />concisely, both orally and in writing.
