<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Mental Health <br />Associate <br />Class Code: <br />551 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$20.32 - $27.20 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br /> Non-Exempt 05 ParaprofessionalsHealth <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Provides individual and group recreational, social and skills training services under a professionally <br />developed service plan; keeps records of client status; performs treatment plan directed case <br />management functions under close supervision; performs related duties as required. Primary <br />responsibility of this class is to assist and support other mental health professionals, without primary <br />responsibility for a caseload. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under close supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the <br />results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of others is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Assists other mental health professionals in providing recreational, social and skills training <br />programs in individual and group formats with consumers enrolled in behavioral health services <br />and their families. <br />2.Performs treatment plan directed case management under close supervision to determine client <br />eligibility, service needs and to obtain resources for clients. Monitors services provided to clients. <br />3.Provides administrative assistance for client services. Documents client status and services <br />provided. <br />4.Assists in providing training and orientation to volunteers. <br />5.Provides wellness education services to mental health consumers and their families. <br />6.Participates in intra-agency and interagency case staffings for purposes of evaluation and <br />treatment planning for clients. <br />7.May organize and facilitate care coordination teams. <br />8.Works within a team and collaborates with other team members. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br /> <br />
