Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />5.Provides secure environment for databases and processes; establishes and enforces security <br />guidelines for terminal access including preparation of application of security reports, password <br />expiration, and protection of computer resources. <br />6.Develops and maintains structure documentation; formulates and enforces standards for data <br />management. <br />7.Maintains data integrity with backup, archive and recovery processes. <br />8.Performs other database duties as assigned. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Associate degree in computer science or related degree; AND <br />2.Three (3) years of database analysis and design experience; AND <br />3.Three (3) years of database administration experience, which may be concurrent with #2; OR <br />4.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Requires: strong technical skills in database management. <br />Ability to: work independently as well as be a strong team member; handle multiple projects and tasks <br />simultaneously; understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions; handle a high level of <br />computer efficiency and systems knowledge; to design and analyze data information. <br />ADOPTED: <br />04/02 <br />REVISED: <br />12/08 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />12/08; 01/11; 01/18 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br />
