Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />12.If serving clients in a licensed residential setting: administer medications and record in the MARS <br />in accordance with Physician/PMHNP orders and residential policies and procedures. <br />13.Assist clients with shopping, cleaning, laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed. Assist <br />clients with community appointments. <br />14.Provide cleaning, cooking and laundry as needed in residential settings. If assigned to the crisis <br />center may provide cleaning of apartments for PCC's respite program. <br />15.In non-licensed settings may monitor medications. Assist with drug/alcohol screen UA's as <br />needed. <br />16.Complete chart note documentation consistent with department standards. Complete program <br />specific reporting requirements. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from high school or possession of a GED; AND <br />2.One (1) year of employed or volunteer experience working with the client population served by the <br />position; OR one (1) year of post high-school training in health occupations, behavioral or social <br />sciences; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Class C Oregon driver's license. (May be <br />> <br />modified under exceptional circumstances.) <br />If position is within a Drug & Alcohol Treatment program, must be able to obtain CADC1 <br />> <br />certification within 6 months of date of hire. <br />Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record. <br />> <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Knowledge and understanding of general mental health issues of the clients with whom the incumbent <br />interacts; knowledge of, or training in, the field of health, social sciences, psychology, or substance <br />abuse; ability to understand and carry out directions and instructions; ability to maintain confidentiality; <br />interest and skill in providing services to people; ability to read and write English; must be willing to work <br />hours conducive to reaching the identified population; ability to establish and maintain cooperative <br />working relationships with clients, coworkers, and other agencies. <br />ADOPTED: <br />10/05 <br />REVISED: <br />04/08; 11/18 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />11/18 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br />
