Please refer to the <br /> signed approved site plan dated February 14, 2019. Any deviation from the <br /> approved plans must be authorized by this office prior to installation or the <br /> permit may be voided. <br /> TANK RISER: The tank must be installed with watertight risers extending to <br /> the ground surface or above. The riser lid must be gasketed and securely <br /> fastened. <br /> EFFLUENT SEWER: The effluent sewer is the pipe from the septic tank to the <br /> distribution box. The material required is 3034 or Schedule 40 pipe with <br /> 18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or green metallic tape placed along the <br /> pipe. The effluent sewer shall extend at least five (5) feet from the tank. There <br /> must be a minimum difference of eight (8) inches between the invert (flow line) <br /> of the septic tank outlet and the invert of the distribution or drop box outlet. In <br /> Equal Distribution, there must be six (6) inches of fall between the septic tank <br /> outlet and the distribution box inlet. <br /> OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by <br /> the Department of Environmental Quality rules. A copy of the DEQ setback <br /> requirements is available in our office and online at <br /> http://www.oregon.gov/deq/Residential/Pages/Onsite.aspx under Rules: <br /> Division 71: Table 1. <br /> THE ATTACHED SEPTIC TANK ABANDONMENT FORM MUST BE <br /> COMPLETED AND RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE. The septic system <br /> installer must complete and sign the form and attach a copy of the receipt from <br /> the septic tank pumping service for pumping the tank. <br /> MAINTAIN PERMANENT ACCESSto septic tank for pumping and service. <br /> The septic tank should be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic <br /> tank service before sludge and scum accumulations reach 30% of the <br /> tank liquid operating volume.
