SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED PRIOR TO BACKFILL. THIS SEPTIC RECORD REVIEW IS APPROVED BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT AND THE ACCURACY HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED. Please refer to the signed approved site plan dated March 13, 2007. OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. A minimum 5-foot setback is required from the septic tank to a building foundation. A minimuml0-foot setback is required from the drainfield to a building foundation. A copy of the DEQ setback requirements is available in our office. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping service approximately EVERY FIVE(5)YEARS.The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste stream.
