ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION OF THIS SEPTIC SYSTEM. Detailed instructions for dosing tank/effluent pump installations are available in our office. The electrical wiring to the pump and alarm must be installed in accordance with the appropriate Electrical Code. The electrical work must be done under a Marion County Electrical Permit and must be inspected and approved by a Marion County Electrical Inspector. The work must be left uncovered and accessible for inspection. The electrical inspection includes the connections to the pump and alarm in the dosing tank,the wiring in the trench and the connections in the structure. OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. A copy of the DEQ setback requirements is on file in our office and available online at http://www.deq.state.or ushvq/onsite/sdssearch.asp under Rules: Division 71:Table 1. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as excavating or filling, driveway placement, paving or other similar activities that alter the natural soil conditions will adversely affect the soil and the septic system function and lead to premature system failure. The area must not be subjected to excessive saturation due to artificial drainage of ground surfaces, driveways, building downspouts or other sources. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected. THIS SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO BACKFILL. When work is complete and ready for inspection, request an inspection by following the instructions on the accompanying permit document. Be sure the System Record form with the As-Built drawing is on the job or in our office when the inspection is requested.
