Marion County Building Inspection Division <br /> OREGON Onsite Wastewater Review <br /> as_ <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> Permit Number: 12-06306 Date: November 8, 2012 <br /> Project Address: 34939 North Santiam HY SE, Gates. <br /> Completed By: Jessica L.Joye, REHS, Onsite Wastewater Specialist <br /> ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM INSTALLATION <br /> Approved Area & System Type <br /> This property has been approved for a STANDARD SEPTIC SYSTEM in the area of the approved test <br /> holes. Please refer to the signed approved site plan dated November 8, 2012. Any deviation from the <br /> approved plans must be authorized by this office prior to installation or the permit may be voided <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> EFFLUENT SEWER:The effluent sewer is the pipe from the septic tank to the distribution or drop box. <br /> The material required is 3034 or Schedule 40 pipe with 18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or green <br /> metallic tape placed along the pipe. The effluent sewer shall extend at least 5-feet from the tank. There <br /> must be a minimum difference of 8-inches between the invert(flow line)of the septic tank outlet and the <br /> invert of the distribution or drop box outlet. In Equal Distribution, there must be 6-inches of fall <br /> between the septic tank outlet and the distribution box inlet, and 2-inches of drop within the box. In <br /> Serial Distribution, there must be 2-inches of fall between the septic tank outlet and the drop box inlet, <br /> and 6-inches of drop within the box. <br /> AN EFFLUENT LIFT PUMP WILL BE REQUIRED to install the septic system disposal field in the <br /> approved area and at the required depth.Detailed instructions for dosing tank/effluent pump installations <br /> are available in our office. The electrical wiring to the pump and alarm must be installed in accordance <br /> with the appropriate Electrical Code. The electrical work must be done under a Marion County Electrical <br /> Permit and must be inspected and approved by a Marion County Electrical Inspector.The work must be <br /> left uncovered and accessible for inspection. The electrical inspection includes the connections to the <br /> pump and alarm in the dosing tank, the wiring in the trench and the connections in the structure. <br /> OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. A <br /> copy of the DEQ setback requirements is included for your review. <br /> Additional Conditions of Site Approval <br /> 1. This site is approved for the type of disposal system described above. Peak sewage flow into the <br /> system is limited to a maximum of 625 gallons per day, with an average sewage flow of not more <br /> than 313 gallons per day. Approval is limited to 1-ry space and 5 employees. Premature failure of <br /> the treatment system may occur if either of these flow quantities is exceeded.
