<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Drug Treatment <br />Associate 1 <br />Class Code: <br />529 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$20.32 - $27.20 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br /> Non-Exempt 05 ParaprofessionalsHealth and Human Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Performs counseling and case management functions with consumers and their families with clinical <br />supervision. Keeps records of client status. Primary responsibility of this class is counseling and case <br />management, without responsibility for developing and implementing specific services in the community. <br />Performs related duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and/or designee who assigns work, establishes goals <br />and reviews results obtained for overall effectiveness. Works within a team and collaborates with other <br />team members. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of others in not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Plans and implements counseling activities with other drug and alcohol health professionals in <br />providing group and individual counseling with consumers enrolled in drug and alcohol services, <br />and their families. <br />2.Performs case management, under supervision, to determine client eligibility, service needs and to <br />obtain resources for clients. Monitors services provided to clients. <br />3.Participates in intra-agency and interagency case staffings to assist with the evaluation and <br />treatment planning for clients including crisis management. <br />4.Acts as a facilitator or co-facilitator in group counseling sessions with substance-related disorder <br />clients. <br />5.Maintains client records and documents in a timely manner for services provided to reflect <br />progress in services as well as service needs. <br />6.Assesses individual client functional skills and treatment needs.
