Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />3.Takes primary responsibility for handling special projects, which require extensive administration <br />and coordination. <br />4.Provides lead direction to a specific team or unit which includes work coordination, consultation <br />and coaching. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Possession of a graduate degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, <br />art therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing and <br />licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and <br />licensed by the State of Oregon; and three (3) years post-graduate mental health experience; OR <br />2.Possession of a graduate degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, <br />art therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing and <br />licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and <br />licensed by the State of Oregon; and one (1) year post-graduate mental health experience and a <br />combination of at least two (2) years additional specialized training and/or experience specific to <br />the position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />For positions in the Health and Human Services Department, must be able to be credentialed as a <br />> <br />Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Thorough knowledge of: systems of care, community resources, coordination of care, the techniques and <br />principles of psychological, behavioral, addictive, social and neurological disorders and the application of <br />psychological treatment to such disorder. <br />Knowledge of and ability to: function within a professional code of ethics. <br />Skill and ability in: treatment of individuals with mental health and/or alcohol & drug services treatment <br />needs; evaluate psychiatric or alcohol & drug services; take part in diagnostic and treatment planning <br />conferences at a systems level; provide recommendations and assessment with a high degree of <br />independence; prepare concise and complete clinical reports and individual records in a professional and <br />timely manner. <br />ADOPTED: <br />07/75 <br />REVISED: <br />09/6; 03/93; 11/05 retitled; 07/08; 08/12; 07/14; 07/19 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />11/05; 02/14; 08/19 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br />
