Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />6.Screens correspondence and determines how to handle routine items; prepares routine legal <br />correspondence for own signature; maintains contact and responds to routine questions from <br />attorneys, clients, outside agencies, members of the public and others on case status. <br />7.Functions as a local area network (LAN) computer liaison; serves as liaison to IT personnel; <br />assists users with computer problems. <br />8.Serves as backup for phones and reception as necessary. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from high school or equivalent; AND <br />2.Completion of a two (2) year paralegal or legal assistant program; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position; AND <br />4.Good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet computer programs is required for <br />positions in this classification.
