Monitors interactions and behavior of clients, maintains <br />order and reports issues as appropriate. Maintains client records. Schedules vehicle maintenance. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general direction of a supervisor, who assigns work, establishes goals and reviews the <br />results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this class. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Safely transports program clients using county vans. <br />2.Performs safety checks on vans (i.e., tires, fluids, lights, brakes, seatbelts, general condition); <br />schedules maintenance as needed. <br />3.Maintains order while transporting clients; monitors interactions, intervenes as necessary; <br />documents incidents; communicates issues to program staff. <br />4.Maintains client records if required by program. <br />5.May be responsible for picking up supplies or driving for specific activities. <br />6.Actively participates with team, including participating in staff meetings and trainings as requested. <br />7.Provides training and orientation to new or substitute van drivers. <br />8.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.High school diploma or equivalent, AND <br />2.One (1) year experience working with identified clientele of program, OR <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br /> <br />
