<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Maintenance Control <br />Clerk <br />Class Code: <br />484 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />Established Date: Dec 1, 1978 <br />Revision Date: Sep 1, 2013 <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$17.52 - $23.44 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Non-Exempt 08 Service MaintenanceBusiness Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Maintains and controls parts and supplies inventory; delivers parts and supplies to satellite shops; <br />performs other related duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor who assigns and outlines work projects and <br />inspects the results for compliance with departmental standards. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of employees is not a normal responsibility of position in this class. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Coordinates with supervisory personnel on tool needs. Works within county procurement <br />guidelines to ensure current costing for all purchases. <br />2.Obtains parts and supplies from local and distant sources for parts and supplies inventories; <br />maintains computerized inventory of parts and supplies; issues parts and supplies for specific job; <br />recommends stocking levels to supervisor. <br />3.Prepares purchase requisitions for supplies and tools. Maintains price list for all parts purchased <br />for inventory. <br />4.Delivers supplies, tools and equipment to satellite shops. <br />5.Maintains shop tools and equipment in correct, efficient and safe operating condition, removing <br />unsafe or improperly operating tools and equipment from use per lead persons and/or supervisor. <br />6.Support and facilitate the department's mission to provide efficient, responsive and quality services <br />to our customers and clients. <br />7.Provides other minor maintenance tasks as assigned. <br />8.Ensures all products have Material Safety Data Sheets when purchased.
