Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />6.Writes, reviews, and approves program policies and procedures; implements, interprets <br />and enforces department and program policies and procedures. <br />7.Applies for grants and/or coordinates fundraising efforts on behalf of program. <br />8.Coordinates with contracted service providers. <br />9.Reviews, assesses and arranges for maintenance of program facility. <br />10.Coordinates and arranges program inventory. <br />11.Participates in scheduled training; attends meetings; represents the department on <br />committees, task forces, advisory groups, policy boards, etc. as assigned. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Four (4) year college degree with major course work in related field; AND <br />2.Three (3) years work experience in related field; AND <br />3.One (1) year experience in supervision (may be concurrent with above experience); OR <br />4.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience <br />relevant to the position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Possession of, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon Driver's License. <br />> <br />Some positions in this class may require the possession of specific licenses, <br />> <br />certifications or registrations (e.g., RN, CADC and/or QMHP). <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Considerable knowledge of: program area; strategic planning. <br />Skill in: coaching and motivating employees; preparing and maintaining a budget; operating a <br />computer; preparing statistical reports; public speaking; grant-writing and/or fundraising. <br />Ability to: supervise employees and coach for optimum performance; effectively communicate <br />in both oral and written form; prepare clear and concise reports; compile and analyze <br />statistical information; establish and maintain effective, professional, and collaborative <br />working relationships with staff, the public, clients, and other agencies. <br />ADOPTED: <br />11/01 <br />REVISED: <br />05/05 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecI...11/23/2020 <br /> <br />
