Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />agencies; pre-pares paperwork in appropriate format for review and approval by the <br />Board of Commissioners. <br />6.May assist in the development of departmental budget by providing documentation on <br />expenses and analyzing data to project costs. <br />7.Conduct, or assist in conducting, orientation for new employees. <br />8.Perform other duties as assigned. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from high school, preferably supplemented by course work in business <br />administration, accounting, computer programs or related work; AND <br />2.Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in an office environment in a <br />liaison or coordinating role; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training, or experience relevant to the <br />position, as determined by Marion County. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Considerable knowledge of: administrative procedures and the ability to apply those <br />principles; office equipment, computer equipment and programs, and demonstrated skill in <br />their use; office record keeping procedures and accounting principles; laws and regulations as <br />they pertain to the position; <br />Ability to: effectively coordinate the work of support staff; communicate effectively in both <br />verbal and written form; maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, <br />administrative staff from a variety of agencies, and the public. <br />ADOPTED: <br />01/78 <br />REVISED: <br />07/82; 06/84; 10/91; 03/93; 01/04; 03/21 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />01/14; 12/19 <br />http://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID...3/10/2021 <br />
