Please see findings below: <br /> BUILDING <br /> INSPECTION Approved Area & System Type <br /> Test pits and other site features were evaluated on May 14, 2021. The <br /> EMERGENCY conditions observed during the evaluation indicate that the area around <br /> MANAGEMENT the test pits is suitable for a standard, serial distribution drainfield in the <br /> ENGINEERING area of the evaluated test pits, subject to conditions detailed below: <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL 1. The existing well must be properly abandoned per Oregon Water <br /> SERVICES Resources requirements, and documentation submitted to this office. <br /> 2. A 50' setback must be maintained to the existing drain tile from the <br /> OPERATIONS absorption lines. <br /> PARKS For details of this conditional approval, please see attached field sheet and <br /> PLANNING map. <br /> SURVEY OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as <br /> required by the Department of Environmental Quality rules. A copy of the <br /> DEQ setback requirements is available in our office and online at <br /> http://www.oregon.gov/deq/Residential/Paqes/Onsite.aspx under Rules: <br /> Division 71: Table 1. <br /> THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from <br /> any vehicular traffic or livestock. Other activities such as excavating or <br /> filling, driveway placement, paving or other similar activities that alter the <br /> natural soil conditions will adversely affect the soil and the septic system <br /> function and lead to premature system failure. The area must not be <br /> subjected to excessive saturation due to artificial drainage of ground <br /> surfaces, driveways, building downspouts or other sources.
