To: Jacob Mueller
From: Robert Goodwin, REHS
RE: Major Alteration permit application no. 555-21-004692
May 14, 2021
Page 2
protected.
This approval is for a system designed to serve a single family dwelling with a maximum
of 4 bedrooms. Peak sewage flow into the system is limited to a maximum of 450
gallons per day, with an average sewage flow of not more than 225 per gallons per day.
Premature failure of the treatment system may occur if either of these flow quantities is
exceeded. If, for some reason, you expect your domestic household water use may
exceed these flows, it is advisable to increase the size of the treatment system.
This is not a permit, in order to obtain a permit, please submit a detailed plot plan
and materials list showing all proposed system components and setbacks.
The existing tank must be decommissioned per DEQ rules and documented on a DEQ
Marion County approved form, before a septic final will be issued.
Please contact me with any questions.
Thank you, -
Robert Goodwin, REHS
Marion County Onsite Wastewater Specialist
503-566-3990
rgoodwin@co.marion.or.us
5155 Silverton Road NE•Salem,OR 97305-3802• www.co.marion.or.us
Printed on recycled paper• Reduce—Reuse-Recycle-Recover
