NORTH i"~RIOiN HIGH SCHOOL <br /> <br />3.85 Miscellaneous Work items <br /> <br />3.e~ Clean-Up <br /> <br />Contractor shall remove bituminous markings from finished <br />surfaces. In areas where finished sup+aces are soiled by <br />asphalt or any other source~ caused by ~orK of this <br />section~ he shall consult manufacturer of surfaces for <br />cleaning aOvice and conform to instructions. <br /> <br />Contractor is to Keep the roof and premises clean and free <br />from accumulations of waste materials and rubbish at all <br /> <br />times· He shall remove all debris, scrap~ and rubbish <br />fro am the work area daily. He shall not throw or drop <br />material from the roof; he is to use fixed chutes to slide <br />materials~ or other me,ns approved by the Consultant, to <br />prevent injury or dmmage to personnel, equipment, building <br />or premises, <br /> <br />Surplus materials and alt equipment shall be promptly <br />removed from the site upon completion of the worK. In <br />case of undue delay or dispute~ School District may remove <br />rubbish, materials and equipment and charge cost to <br />Contractor, with such action permissible by School <br />District 48 hours after a written notice has been <br />transmitted to Contractor. <br /> <br />Prior to final acceptance, Contractor shall restore all <br />areas affected by this work to their original state of <br />cleanliness and repair all damage done to the premises, <br />including the grounds, by his workmen and equipment. <br /> <br />3.87 Field Qualitz,,Control <br /> <br />7he School District/Consultant may require that test cuts <br />be made to verify that the installation has been performed <br />in accordance ~ith the stated requirements. <br /> <br />Test cuts, when so required~ shall be approximately four <br />inches wide by 42 inches long~ cut at right angles to the <br />direction of the length of the plies. <br /> <br />C. Repairs and replacements: <br /> <br />When test cut is made; Contractor''shall furnish <br />install all temporary protection needed to prevent <br />penetration of water through roo~ until final patches <br />or new roofing materials are installed. <br /> <br /> <br />
