930 10TH PLACE AUMSVILLE <br />February 11, 1991 <br />Page Marion County Buildlng Inspection <br /> Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the <br />State of Oregon 1990 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling <br />Specialty Code. <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of <br />6 in. within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot <br />lines where the fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless <br />of the horizontal distance available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />The area within the foundation walls shall have all vegeta- <br />tion, top soil and foreign material removed. (R-603.2) <br /> <br />Basement walls, foundation walls, and other vertical <br />concrete exposed to the weather shall have a minimum <br />specified compressive strength of 3000 psi. Porches, <br />carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed to the <br />weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength <br />of 3500 psi. Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with <br />minimum 1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded <br />at least 7 inches into concrete or reinforced masonry and <br />spaced not more than 6 feet apart with a minimum of 2 bolts <br />per piece with one bolt within 12 inches of the end of each <br />piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The <br />minimum size opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. <br />(R-309.2) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window <br />approved for emergency egress or rescue. The window sill <br />height shall not be more than 44 inches above the floor. <br />The minimum net clear opening height dimension shall be 20 <br />inches. The minimum net opening height shall be 24 inches. <br />The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />Openings between the garage and residence shall be equipped <br />with solid wood doors not less than i 3/8 inches in <br />thickness or equivalent. (R-209.1) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence <br />and its attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or <br />equivalent applied to the garage side. The door between the <br />garage and residence shall be equipped with solid wood doors <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans. <br /> <br /> <br />
