Marion County
OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

NOTICE OF APPROVAL=

EVALUATION REPORT FOR AN
ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM

August 27, 1992

NEAL NITTINGER C/O SANI-T~CH
1242 N 31ST COURT NW
SALEM, OREGON 97304

97342

Our office has completed the re-evaluation of your property for a two
bedroom building site in the area you proposed for an on-site sewage system.

Based on the results of this study, on-site sewage disposal appears
feasible for the property. However, site conditions will require the installa-
tion of a SEEPAGE TRENCHES for the original system and a SAND FILTER-SEEPAG~
TRENCHES fo~ the future replacement system. These are described in the
attached construction detail and setback sheets.

This approval is given on the basis that the lot or parcel will not be
further partitioned or subdivided and that conditions on this property and on
adjaoent properties are not altered in any manner which would prohibit the
issuance of a permit. Soils in the approved area shall not be altered or
modified by cutting, filling, or other developmental activities which would
impede the successful operation of the initial or replacement soil absorption
systems. Failure to comply with the above items may void this approval.

~bis re~ort is not a permit to install the sewaqe system. A permit must
be obtained before any s~.~em construction occurs. A permit may be issued only
after the property has been found to be compatible with applicable LCDC
acknowledged local comprehensive land use plan. A Statement of Land Use
Compatibility or its equivalent is required before a construction permit can
be issued.

The detailed plot plan, must be submitted with the permit application
before the construction-installation permit can be issued. The system must be
installed by the property owner or a DEQ licensed septic installer.

This site evaluation report is valid until an on-site sewage system is
installed pursuant to the construction permit obtained from this office, or
until earlier cancellation pursuant to the Environmental Quality Commission
rules. Subject to the above, this report runs with the land and will automati-
cally benefit subsequent owners.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, $;00 to 4:30. Please contact
our office if you have any questions concerning this report.

r&on County Building Inspection
LE~ A. GRIMES, SOIL SCIENTIST
