SEEPAGE TRENCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />August 27, 1992 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />NEAL NITTINGER C/O SANI-TEC~ <br />13626 <br /> ORIGINAL SYSTEM <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE <br />$EWAG~ DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply <br />to the installation of your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />300 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 67 lineal feet per 150 <br />~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 134 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 42 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 42 inches. The depth of filter below the distribution <br />pipe shall be 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of <br />backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural <br />ground surface. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> The seepage trenches must be constructed as currently field staked for <br /> location and the house must be located as outlined by the attached plot <br /> plan. These site limitations are necessary to comply with required <br /> minimum separation/setback distances. Refer to the enclosed setback list <br /> which outlines the minimum separation distances between components of <br /> the septic systems and other features. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM <br />UNTIL A VALID PERMIT ~AS BEEN ISSUED EY THIS OFFICE. <br /> <br /> <br />
