SEEPAGE TRENCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET August 27, 1992 APPLICANT: SITE NUMBER: NEAL NITTINGER C/O SANI-TEC~ 13626 ORIGINAL SYSTEM Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE $EWAG~ DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 300 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 67 lineal feet per 150 ~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 134 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 42 inches and a maximum trench depth of 42 inches. The depth of filter below the distribution pipe shall be 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The seepage trenches must be constructed as currently field staked for location and the house must be located as outlined by the attached plot plan. These site limitations are necessary to comply with required minimum separation/setback distances. Refer to the enclosed setback list which outlines the minimum separation distances between components of the septic systems and other features. THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM UNTIL A VALID PERMIT ~AS BEEN ISSUED EY THIS OFFICE.
