SAND FILTER SYSTEM CONSTHUCTIGN DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />August 27, 1992 <br /> <br />APPLICANT~ <br />SITE NUMBER~ <br /> <br />NEAL NITTINGER C/O SANI-TECE <br />13626 <br /> REPLACEMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br /> 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br /> 300 qallons per day. Sased on soil conditions observed on this <br /> site, the disposal field will be sized at 30 lineal feet per <br /> gallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 60 lineal <br /> feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br /> ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br /> on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br /> feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br /> level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br /> with a minimum trench depth of 42 inches and a maximum trench <br /> depth of 42 inches. There must be at least 12 inches Of backfill <br /> over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br /> surface. Thirty (30) inches drainrock is required with twenty-four <br /> (24) inches of rock below the drainline pipe. <br /> <br /> 4. The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR <br /> 340-71-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br /> be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br /> required if a site built concrete box is used as the sand filter <br /> container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br /> requirements for a sand filter system. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> The drainfield lines must be located as currently field staked for <br /> location and as outlined by the enclose plot plan. <br /> <br />THIS KS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INS~n?.?. THE SYSTEM <br /> <br />UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS EEEN ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE. <br /> <br /> <br />
