May 7, 1992 APPLICANT: SITE NUMBER: SEEPAGE T~NCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET KEN FOOTE 92-1337 Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project ie calculated at 300 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this eite, the disposal field will be sized at 72 lineal feet per 150 ~ of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 145 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 42 inches and a maximum trench depth of ~9 inches. The depth of filter below the distribution pipe shall be 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise authorized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The new drainfield will be constructed within the area currently used for parking. After construction, the area must be barricaded against vehicle traffic to prevent soil compaction and damage to the new system. The existing septic tank must be pumped and properly abandoned. Submit a copy of the pumping receipt to our office. Observe normal minimum separation distances between components of the new system and other features. Refer to the enclosed setback list.
