CHAPTER 918. DIVISION 600 <br />MOBILE HOME PARKS <br /> <br /> Design and Land Use <br /> <br /> 918-600-050 (1) Sultabllity of Site. The site shall be sultable for <br />proper development of a mobile home park and meet all relevant-land use <br />requirements. Condition of soil, ground water level, dralnage, and <br />topography shall be suitable. No mobile home or other structure shall be <br />located w~thin an area designated as a lO0-year flood plain by the Corps <br />of Englneers, Oregon Water ResoUrces Department, or other approved agency <br />unless the site will provide for a floor elevation that is not less than <br />one foot above the lO0-year flood elevation. <br /> <br /> (2) Space Utilization. Building separation in a mobile home park for <br />each mobile home and 1ts accessory structures shall be tn accordance with <br />the following: <br /> <br /> (a) The dtstance between mobile home shall in no case be less than l0 <br />feet end to end or side to side. All HUD-approved mobile homes may be IO <br />feet from adjacent mobile homes on both sides. <br /> <br />~(B) The dlstance between non-HUD-approved mobile homes placed parallel <br />to each other may be l0 feet on one side but must be at least 14 feet on <br />the other <br /> EXCEPTIONS: <br /> -l- Non-HUD-approved mobile homes may be placed l0 feet apart In <br /> mobile home parks that comply with the Fire Safety Standards <br /> as follows: <br /> A. Access to Mobile Homes for Fire Protection Services. <br /> Access to a mobile home for fire protection services shall be <br /> such as to permit flre apparatus to approach wlthin 100 feet <br /> of each mobile home. <br /> B. Use of Fire Protection Equipment_ The mobile home park <br /> operator should instruct his staff in the use of the fire <br /> protection equipment available in the park and deftne thelr <br /> specific duties In the event of fire.
