SAND PILTER SYSTEM CONSTEUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />November 30, 1992 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />KENNETE ALLEN <br />92-3~02 <br /> REPLACEMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER ALTERNATIV~ SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br />gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 qallons per day. Eased on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 45 lineal, feet per 150 <br />~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 135 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no lane exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (Zl") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with equal distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 18 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 18 inche~. There mus~ be at l~ast 6 i~ches of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br />The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR <br />340-71-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br />be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br />required if a site built concrete box is used as the sand filter <br />container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br />requirements for a sand filter system. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the i~mediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> The sand filter drainfields must be constructed within the immediate <br /> area of the two, new southwesterly test pits. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTal,?.
