(R-707) <br /> <br />A readily accessible attic access shall be provided to any attic area <br />having a clear height of over 30 inches. A framed opening not less than <br />22 in. by 30 in. is required. (R-708) <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Factory-built fireplace stoves, consisting of a freestanding fire <br />chamber assembly, that have been tested and are listed by a nationally <br />recognized testing laboratory, shall be installed in accordance with the <br />requirements of said listing and the manufacturer's instructions. <br />(R-905) <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
