Anchor <br />ties shall be corrosion resistant, and if made of sheet metal, shall <br />have a minimum size of NO. 22 gauge by 3/4 inch or, if of wire, shall be <br />a minimum of No. 9 gauge. Anchor tics in Seismic Zone NO. 3 shall have <br />a lip or hook on the extended leg that will engage or enclose a <br />horizontal joint reinforcement wire of No. 9 gauge or equivalent. The <br />joint reinforcement shall be continuous with butt splices between ties <br />permitted. (3006(d}1) <br /> <br />Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions or oversights by <br />this office or of noncompliance with any applicable regulations of local <br />government. <br /> <br />This project may be subject to the arshitectural standards of thc Americans <br />with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Issuance of a building permit do~s not <br />certify compliance with this Federal Statute. Copies of the guidelines and <br />information concerning the ADA may be obtained from the Architectural and <br />Transportation Barriers Compliance Board, 1-202-653-7834 (Voice/TDD) or <br />1-800 USA-ABLE.
