September 2, <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER; <br /> <br /> SAND FILTER PLUS FULL <br />CAPP~NO FILL SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />1993 <br /> <br /> JOHN M. KAILEY <br /> 93-2718 <br /> <br /> YOur site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER PLUS FULL CAPPING <br />FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifica- <br />tions shall apply to the installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br />gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 ~allons Der day. Eased on soil Conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 45 lineal fee~ per 150 <br />qallons Of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 135 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (~1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with equal distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 12 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 12 inches. The capping fill material must be inspected <br />and approved prior to placement. The fill shall be of the same <br />textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The <br />disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative <br />mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a <br />final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel. CaoDinq Fill <br />systems shall be constructed between June 1 and October i or <br />du~inq such times when ou~ staff finds ~oil moisture conditions <br /> <br />acceptable. <br /> <br />The site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or <br />other damaging activities. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> Construct the drainfields only on the highest possible surface within <br /> the immediate of the southerly test pit. Use care not to alter the <br /> ground surface as the drainfields must be installed into the natural <br /> undisturbed topsoil. Note, that this sapping fill is an integral part of <br /> the sand filter installation. Observe all normal setback/separation <br /> distances as outlined by the enclosed setback list. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INE~A~J, THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM <br />UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE. <br /> <br /> <br />
