It is the designer's responsibility to size all structural <br />members and fasteners for the appropriate loads and then show them on <br />the plans. (R-ii1.1) <br /> <br />No headers are noted on the plans for window and door openings. No <br />truss layout was provdied with the plans. <br /> <br />Based on the limited information provided on the plans, provide a <br />minimum of a 3 ~/8" x 15" 24F-U3 glulam or a 6~16 DF ~2 header at the <br />garage door, 4x8 DF #2 headers at six foot openings and 4x12 DF #2 <br />headers at eight foot openings or equivalents. <br /> <br />~f the roof line extends over the rear porch area, provide a minimum of <br />a 5 1/8" x 12" 24F-V3 glulam or equivalent to support the trusses. <br /> <br />A post-construction Elevation Certificate is required once construction <br />is complete prior to the request for the final inspection and occupancy <br />of the dwelling. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept on the site Of the building or work at the time of inspection. (R- <br />111.2) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in, below the finish natural <br />grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />Masonry and concrete foundation walls shall be constructed using Table <br />NO. R-304.3b of the Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br />(R-304.3) <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor.
