Roof trusses are required to be designed by an oregon registered <br /> ~ngineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br /> fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br /> construction site for the framing inspection. Ail job site cutting er <br /> modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br /> engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br /> at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br /> the ~arion County Building Departmest prior to start of construction and <br /> have the approved drawings avaflable at the site for the framing <br /> inspection. <br /> <br />8. The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br /> attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br /> the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br /> equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1-3/8 inches in thickness <br /> or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent.
