(R-111.2) <br /> <br />Approved numbers or addresses shall be placed on all buildings in such a <br />position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road <br />fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum Of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />winders on stairways require that the minimum width of any tread is not <br />les~ than 6 inches. The tread width at a point 12 inches from the side <br />where the treads are narrower shall be not less than 9 inches. The <br />average width o~ any tread cannot be less than 9 inches. (R-213~2) <br /> <br />~orizontal spacing between the vertical members in required guardrails <br />at open sides of stairways, raised floor areas, balconies and porches <br />shall be a maximum of 4 inches at the nearest point between the members. <br />(R-214.2) <br /> <br />~nclosed accessible space under stairs shall have walls and soffits <br />protected on the enclosed side with 1/2 inch gypsum board. (R-210.3) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. (R-209.2) <br /> <br />The separation shall be required in the following locations= <br />A. A separation shall be provided between the Workshop on the first <br /> floor of the split level area of the dwelling and the bath and <br /> foyer of the rest of the main part of the dwelling. <br /> <br />A separation shall be provided between the Workshop/garage on the <br />first floor, which has a 8 foot wide garage door and is used for <br />farm equipment maintainance and repair, and the Vaulted Storage <br />area above on the second floor. <br /> <br />The open common atmosphere area between the Workshop and Vaulted <br />Storage area above is not permitted or approved. This open area <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
