$~EPAGE TI~NCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCtiON DETAIL SHEET OCtober 13, 1992 APPLICANT; JEFFPd~M CHASE SITE NUMSER: 92-3358 Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 300 ~allons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 72 .~ineal feet per 150 q~..llons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 144 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 42 inches and a maximum trench depth of 42 inches. The depth Of filter below the distribution pipe shall be 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inche~ of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS= A detailed field stakeout of all proposed development is recommended, with a review by our department prior to construction and/or excavation. Use extreme care in siting the building and individual drainfield lines to ensure minimum required separation distances are maintained. Refer to the enclosed setback list which outlines minimum separation distances between components of septic systems and other features~ existing and proposed. The driveway access must be from the road easement along the northerly property line. NO further cuts will be allowed on the souther- ly portion of the property. Keep in mind that a full drainfield replace- ment area must be maintained with the soil in its natural undisturbed condition. TNIS iS NO~ A PERMIT TO INSTALL TEE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
